Re: OPINIONS

That's a tough one!! They are both beautiful!! Would it be possible to get both? Maybe have the lilies on the outside surrounding the roses?

Re: OPINIONS

this is the invitation I want, and I guess thats why I lean more towards the lillies, but the roses are so soft and elegant Ive been struggling with this decision for almost TWO months!!

Re: OPINIONS

They both are beautiful. Hard decision, but I'm more of a rose person. I'm also using light pink roses as one of my flowers.

I personally am a ****er for lillies, so I say go for lillies, they are also less common.
I'm using white casablancas and peach asiatics

Re: OPINIONS

I like the lillies, but be careful, I think they have a thing in them that could stain the dress, although I am sure the florist can take it out

Re: OPINIONS

Ok, both are beautiful, and I like how different the lillies are, but I have to warn you, the pollen is SO HIGH in them that if you have the slightest allergy to pollen, you will be effected. I don't have major allergies, but I got around those lillies and my God if I didn't want to scratch my face off!!

Edited to add: The thing that can stain your dress is the thing that is sticking out of the middle of the lily, the same thing that causes the insane pollen count. If it's removed, the lily wilts in seconds...

Re: OPINIONS

Thank you for the feedback girls. I had my florist picked but she has turned out to be a pain in the arse, so I made appointments with a few florists, including James Cress and Burtons. I will ask their opinions but today I am 75% lilys, 25% roses

Re: OPINIONS

I am a rose girl but mixing the two seems like a good option, florists can do wonders, maybe have them make a up a sample for you.
