opinions/ help

Ok so long story short i hate my 2 sister in laws. Im not being conceited at all but i am a sweetheart - i cook all the holidays (im a chef/catere) i always invite everyone over but over the last 6 years theres always been problems - im not an angel but i defend myself & if you make me mad/hurt me i am EVIL (lol) so i am not putting them on my shower list & i would love to be able to not include them at the wedding - obviously i cant do that... just to give you a little idea of what i deal with - one SIL got married at the justice of the peace and didnt tell any of the family memebers until we got a 'we got married' card in the mail. 3 weeks later me & FH were engaged after we told everyone we were looking for rings but I one up'ed her - *** are you crazy i had no idea when i was getting engaged. The other SIL IN THE CHURCH AT OUR DAUGHTERS CHRISTENING says i cant believe the church is letting them christening her when there not married.....
at my e-party there was crap said too. GRRRR

like i said i can be mean if i have to - no inviting them to the shower is going to feel good - i wont have to worry about any crap being said about me or anything.

Any thoughts..... thanks!

Well your shower can just be your family and friends if you want, but I would not be surprised if there was drama. Do you know if your FH's family is planning on having a bridal shower for you? Sometimes, the bride's side has one shower and then the groom's side has another on with their family.

I'm alot like you. If someone crosses me, I'm the devil reincarnated. I want to make sure people know not to mess with me. And I know its so hard to step out of the situation and look at it in a different perspective when you REALLY don't want her there. I can 100% understand why you don't and support that you dont invite her- but just remember- you have to put up with her for the rest of your life!!

Also, she made comments at your daughther's christening...who's to say she wont make comments at YOUR WEDDING!? You may want to play nice just to prevent karma from coming back and getting you on your day.

Good luck!

It may be better to just invite them to prevent drama. Also, if both your mother and FH's mother are planning it, it's probably going to be difficult for a mother to not invite her two daughters.

Although, I do have a q, maybe stupid q though--- these two sister in laws are FH's sisters right? Or are they sisters from another of your siblings?

That stinks!!!! I would be afraid to see what kinds of garbage they bring up at the wedding. I think it would be hard for them to not be there, especially the wedding. It just stinks that these people will be in your life forever. Is there any telling that after the wedding you can cut off contact with them? I wouldn't want jealous and hateful people like that in my life. Or at least, don't have them over your house for holidays anymore!!!

Good Luck

Hmmm.. well that adds a different layer then. I would probably still maybe consider inviting them just so they don't bother you at your wedding.

HOWEVER, if you really don't want them there, I don't think it will be as difficult to shave them off your guest list.

JAAMS - you know whats funny is that i told my FMIL that i wasnt inviting them (she knows how they are ) and at first she was like 'OHHHH WHY?') then after a few seconds she was like - no you know what its what makes you happy and if thats what you want thats fine - its because shes also had problems with them..... URG!

Very interesting lol!

There seems to be a lot of layers going on here. The choice is basically yours it seems, but if you don't invite them, they may be pesky at the wedding.
