Opinions Needed Please!

So I asked the church I am using for my ceremony (not my home church) if rose petals can be thrown & they replied 'we would prefer you did not, bubbles are ok.' I am thinking about doing it anyway.. Any thoughts? People have said do it anyway but I'm feeling guilty!

personally, i wouldn't do it.. the most likely reason they don't allow it is because its a liability.. in case anyone trips on the petals they could get sued.
if god forbid something happens you don't want to get yourself in trouble and potentially be held liable.
(im a lawyer so my mind automatically thinks the worst bc i see all the ridiculousness people sue/try to sue for, lol)

you could try talking to them about it though, if they say they prefer you don't do it that is not a flat out no.

Opinions Needed Please!

A friend of mine used poppers/streamers. Once you popped them, the streamers remained attached to the popper so clean up was a breeze! I was thinking about this, but now I'm all up in the air.

Opinions Needed Please!

I know at my church we were flat out told no petals or runners due to a slipping/liability hazard AND because our ceremony is at 4:00 & they have a 5:30 mass, so no one would be able to clean it up. That being said, I definitely wouldn't do it - especially since you asked and they did tell you that they preferred you didn't.

Opinions Needed Please!

my church straight out said no so we're having our flower girl carry a basket with a bouquet inside. And we are doing ribbon wands with bells instead of bubbles because I heard with the material my dress is that the bubbles might stain it (something to look into)
