Opinions on Mandatory Arbitration?
My cell company wants to offer me a great new service deal but in order to have it I must agree to mandatory arbitration (and 2 years of service). What up with that?
I notice with all these phone companies and credit card companies that when you have a gripe with them, instead being able to settle things in court, you have to agree to mandatory arbitration in order to get their services. How do you guys feel about this? I feel this is yet another way in which consumer's rights have been eroded. But how do you get around it?
