Opinions on this dress please

Excuse my grossness lol told u guys I really have curly hair!!

FH said this dress is not appropriate for my shower or the rehearsal dinner - I should wear something 'more bright and springy' according to him.... Do you agree/disagree? Be honest, I am definitely not one to get offended.

For some reason I think you said your FH is a cop. If he is, boy is he the FASHION POLICE today!

I think it would be nicer for the RD than the shower. Showers are usually during the day, and RDs are usually at night. Seems more like a nighttime dress. I think it's cute!

i would say its more of a rehearsal dinner dress but if you want to wear it for your shower go for it, it's your day...... Do what make u happy!!

I will be honest. Do not wear this for either one. It will make u look like a guest rather than the Bride!.
You need to stand out and black is a no no..
That is my opinion.
Dont get me wrong.. the dress is not too bad but not for these occasions at all.

the dress reminds me of something some1 in the movies would wear to a funeral with a birdcage veil.

its a pretty dress...

but you yourself are gorgeous! u need a a fun diva dress for your shower!!!! and for your RD something classy yet flirty

I think if you dress it up with fun jewelry and shoes, you can get away with it for either.

And I don't believe black is a no no....I'm wearing a black dress for my shower.

I'm not one to usually agree with FHs especially since mine is such a Pain in the Asss when it comes to clothes and fashion in general, but I don't love the dress. I think you can find something that better fits your body and makes you look a little sexier (without being over the top of course).

In my opinion FH is right on this one, even thought we hate to admit when they are right!! You should stand out for these occasions... you ARE the bride!!!
