Excuse my grossness lol told u guys I really have curly hair!!

FH said this dress is not appropriate for my shower or the rehearsal dinner - I should wear something 'more bright and springy' according to him.... Do you agree/disagree? Be honest, I am definitely not one to get offended.

You could always save it for someone elses party-unless M is totally against it.

ok so i voted for the RD, BUT i would have to agree with your fh and i know girls are going to have me shot but for anything wedding related i dont like BLACK at all, not for bm dresses, not showers not rd's, call me old fashioned but thats just my opinion lol

I'm not one to usually agree with FHs especially since mine is such a Pain in the Asss when it comes to clothes and fashion in general, but I don't love the dress. I think you can find something that better fits your body and makes you look a little sexier (without being over the top of course).

honestly, i agree with your FH

I feel like you won't stand out, it's a cute dress, but I just don't think it would 'go' for either of those occassions

I think it would be nicer for the RD than the shower. Showers are usually during the day, and RDs are usually at night. Seems more like a nighttime dress. I think it's cute!

ITA. Black just feels more appropriate for an evening party.

i'm sorry but i have to agree with fh. it's a little too somber for both occassions. i don't think black is a no no -- there are plenty of flirty lbds out there, but i just think this one doesn't fit the occassion. sorry!

I agree with FH. The dress is nice, but I think you need something more bright and cheery.

Depending on how fancy your RD is, I think it COULD be OK, I just don't think I love it. I like it, but I don't think it's really special enough. It's flattering, but not I think as flattering as it could be for either of those occasions.

I loveeee the back of the dress. Not sure how much I like the front.. Im a big fan of lace though.. I think u can def wear it to the rehearsal dinner .. a little to evening looking for the shower if that makes any sense.. Its hard to picture the whole look without seein ur face, lol!!! HTH

I think its a pretty dress but you are the bride and should stand out at the shower with a more brighter color since it most likely will be in the daytime. Just my opinion.
