Opinions please!!

Ok, well I know I'm cutting it close being that my wedding is 7 months away, but I have a girlfriend who I am close with that I had wanted to ask to be a BM. We are good friends, but she has a group of other friends that she is even closer with than she is with me. My question is do you think she would think it is weird for me to ask her to be my BM when we are close, but not nearly as close as she is is w/her other group?? I guess I feel like she will feel it is almost a hastle knowing that she will be a BM a few more times and I want it to be special to her too. I hope this makes sense.


I know you ladies will give me your honest opinions.

are you worried about your closeness to the girl or to the wedding day?? have you already asked other people to be part of your bp?

I think if u feel close w/ her, u should ask her. But then again, I had ALL family, (no friends) in my bp, and the 1 friend I asked, turned me down, because she was in a BP 1 week be4 mine ans she told me the date may change and could be the day of my wedding (!) I feel that I knew for like 4 years about, and I was always very close w. her in emails and stuff, so I thought she would have said yes, but she didnt and it hurt me alot, and i dont think this friend will ever really know how much she hurt me, (and it still hurt me), nonetheless, she is getting married and didnt ask me to be a BM. go figure!

I'd say ask, but if u have reasons or doubts, think about them cause it ***** to rejected.

I didnt want to be in BP for my cousin, which her wedding was 7 months b4 mine, but she was also middle aged woman, but I still accepted anyway bc i didnt have the heart to say no. . . i personally dont see how anyone had the heart to say no . . .
