I was MOH at one of my best friend's wedding in February. Now that day was a horrible day for my family. My great-aunt, who was like another grandmother, died suddenly in another country that morning (this is just a 1 1/2 months after my other great-aunt also like a grandmother to me died-they helped raise my mom) so my parents had to leave at a minute's notice and as you can imagine my sister and I were not in the best spirits. But being that she is my best friend I went through the day for her with a smile on my face-even sang the Ave Maria for her at church. Went to the reception and stayed knowing that my sister and I would have to take a plane at 6 in the morning to go to the funeral in latin america.
Fast forward to now. My hairstylist is related to my friend's husband. And she commented about a month ago how beautiful the thank you card and pictures were (she couldn't go at the last moment because her husband was hospitalized). Of course I was a bit stunned. I haven't received one neither has my sister or my uncle. Being MOH I haven't even seen the pictures or video. If I was special enough to be asked to be MOH shouldn't I be special enough to see the pictures and video?
Should I say something or just let it go?

Re: Opinions please
I love looking at wedding pics but i'd be more PO'd about the thank you. If you had been my MOH I would have basically done everything short of sending a singing telegram to thank you for everything you had done for me even though it was a terrible time for your family. That's really rude IMO. I would definitely raise it with her, but since she's your best friend I agree with the previous poster that you might want to start by saying something non-confrontational.
I'm sorry about your great-aunt, btw. It's so hard to be away from family especially during a time of loss!!

Thank you for your kind words. It is still a bit tough losing both great aunts. The one that died was basically froma broken heart because she lost her sister (my other great aunt) which they had lived all their lives together. And the singing telegram comment made me smile. Thank you
I may bring it up on Sunday since we will be at her nephew's birthday party and she lives next door (perfect opprotunity to see pictures and video )

I'm a little put out by not getting a thank you card. I know one of the first people I would thank would be my MOH...and even more so for you since you were also going through a tough time, yet still was there for her the entire way.
I would try to bring it up without being confrontational. Tell her that you heard they came out beautiful and go from there...
