You did a fantastic job! I'd say maybe change the font of the initial and make the date a little bigger (not too much--just a little).

thanks girls... the 'L' is a really hard letter to make 'fancy'.... still looking for other fonts to jazz it up a little, but i loved all you girls suggestions! you're all the best!
