why is it that she always manages to turn it into something about or to do w/her?. What was the point of mentioning 'when i was building the bridge at MY house'?? Yes Oprah...We ALL know you have money coming out your damn pores..lol....the whole world know it!! Those women did NOT need more diamonds. It's true what they say..the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

I do love her..don't get me wrong..but I will never understand why 'speaking their name' needed to involve jewels that they damn well can afford on their own.. lol. I think the luncheon and poem were MORE than enough to show how much they meant to her. How about speaking their name and making a donation to charities or countries that can actually USE the $$$, like New Orleans, or Ethiopia, or HEY...US BRIDES!!! LOL! Have you seen ANY of these 'legends' wearing the earrings lateley?? Ummm..no. Not unless they are making a special appearance on HER show. UGH! lol

Ladies..please believe it was and is not my intent to offend anyone. I was only venting my opinion..but it seems this took on a life of it's own and has hit sensitive spots w/certain individuals.

I luv Oprah too...but yes, she takes it WAY too far. C'mon lady...what's the point of doing something nice (like the Legends Ball) if you're going to televise it and profit from it?

Oprah...as awesome as she is...needs to stop!!! Was Vivica Fox there? Because there's a sister that needs recognition...after all that fitty BS!! And what about Lela Rochon? She's everywhere!!

She is really really getting on my nerves...yes she does a lot for people in need....but then she turns around and pats herself on the back for it...that is not what charity is...IMO anyway.....
