I am putting together my program draft and want to write my bridesmaids in order that they will walk in so people know who is who....aside from the obvious of moh and fg walking before me.....who goes in first,....shortest or tallest?
I think most people I know did it by relationship... not necessarily by size. but if you want to do it by size order.. then take the lead from the MOH and work backwards.
I think, I'm going to do it by size.
I'm doing it by who is closest to me
i had them ordered by relationship, but also so that my tallest girl (who is walking with our tallest guy) is in the middle
I'm doing mine by relationship... the closet last the not so close first
I did alphabetical order. How could I possibly rank my girls? And size order seems to grammar schoolish.
i am listing the bms in the program in alphabetical but they are walking in by size order shortest first, tallest last
I was surprised to see so many of you doing this by relationship....I wouldnt even let that idea cross my mind! I have 7 girls...my moh is my cousin and all others are friends...putting them in an order of who is closer just seems hurtful...plus...arent they supposed to be in height order for picutures???

this was my exact thought. i'd hate to have to sit down and rank the girls i love the most by order of importanceit's the same reason why top friends on myspace drive me crazy...

i really think if I was a bm and was asked to walk in last because I was the 'least close' i would be offended by that. i was always told height order for weddings..that way when you line up by altar or after the pictures are perfectly lined up??? i cant imagine....OMG!

i am so glad others said this. lol. especially since all the etiquette books say not to do it. im just sticking to height order . I'd like to avoid hurting anyone on the off-change they found out.

Yeah - I'd make sure you line them up in a way that you'll A) like for pics and B) in a way that you'll end up with the most important girls closest to you.

now i am confused....can we have some more responses...i thought shortest should go first so when we walk down and set up at the altar the height looks proper going down the steps from right to left....tall to short???
