Re: Order of walking down aisle
Usually the Groom and the Best man are already at the church and are waiting in the front. The Ushers escort your BM's and Jr.BM's down then its the FG(s) &/or RB(s). Then the MOH, then you escorted by (usually) your father or father figure, and handed off to your soon to be new husband!
The men--Ushers and Groom and Bestman usually get ready together and arrive at the church EARLY-- in order to usher your guests to their seats. The groom and Best man get to hang out in the back of the church and relax, and talk. Then after all of the guests are seated and the women have arrived, the limo drivers or the sexton at the church help in sending you down!
GOOD LUCK!

Thanks! We are not getting married in a church and we are Jewish so I wonder what the order is for us!

Re: Order of walking down aisle
I know I've seen the order in the back of some wedding mag (including a jewish processional) - maybe it was the Wedding Locations mag? Go to B&N and browse.

Your Rabbi will be able to help you out. Also check out 'Weddings For Dummies' and check out this link for other books about Jewish weddings and all they entail. http://www.askginka.com/religions/jewish.htm

Re: Order of walking down aisle
My church has told me that the groom must walk down the aisle and not wait in the front. Has anyone seen this done? My FI is not happy about having to walk down the aisle.
