I ordered my dress (Casablanca 1910) from Bay Shore bridal back in February and it still isn't in. I have called them and talked to them many times, and they said the dress should be in by Thanksgiving.
Have any of you waited this long! I am starting to get nervous.

Some dresses can take 8-10 months to come in.

I think most places order it so that you get it 2-3 months before the wedding. At least that's what I was told at a few places I went to, including where I ordered my dress. They leave the 2-3 month cushion for alterations.

don't worry sometimes it takes awhile. and if they said by thanksgiving than you have a month to go.

I ordered my dress in July and I was told it would come in two months before the wedding... Lilette's told me no matter when I ordered it... it would come in two months before the wedding...

some dresses take awhile, and some stores wont order it until the timing works out for it to come in 2-3 months before..im pretty sure my place does this..
i know its annoying though

Well if they said Thanksgiving, that's still about a month away. Besides, you probably won't even start your fittings till January anyway. I wouldn't freak out just yet.
