I am trying to come up with an elegant, different and noticeable place card idea to personalize my wedding a bit.. I just have no idea what. What do you guys know about?

I've seen some made out of chocolate or cheesecake:0. We used ones made out of handmade paper that matched our invitations. We also personalized our wedding very closely with our favors (donation scrolls to an Interanational organization attached to a bag of earth shaped chocolates).

Curly and Oneday, did you do the CD's and labels yourself, or did you purchase?? They look great!!
I can't decide what I want to use as a place cardholder...How would I go about making these?

omg... i was all set to do the cd's the way lulu made them(cd with vellum envelope and ribbon... those cd's look good with the vellum overlay for placecards!hhmmmmmm.

My theme was roses so I made placecards roses out of hershey kisses. The persons name and table # was on a leaf attatched to the rose. I wish I had a closer picture. I will scan some soon.
