Is there a theme to your wedding? If you do a search on here there are great ideas or check out martha stewart. Good Luck< I am not really sure what I am doing yet either.

I don't have a theme, and I don't think I am going to have one. That is what makes it all so difficult!!!

Well, I'll tell you what we are doing. It sounds cheesey until you see it. Our placecards will be those wooden hearts, painted gold with the names and table number on them. Our colors are white with gold accents, so it seemed like a good thing to have as a gold accent. When I made a sample, it came out SO cute and did not look homemade at all. I wish I had a pic, though! Hope that helps a little.

I know this isn't going to help you out since you're getting married in May, but I think I'm going to use pinecones as placecard holders.

I am planning on doing something a little different. I plan on using various paintings and art works for my table names and as place cards each guest will get a postcard with the artwork on it. I might not actually write the name on the card (martha stewart had a paper triangle that she was using to hold up menus and I might use that and write the persons name on that (and on the back of the postcard)

We are doing chocolate seat cards with our pic on it from Candy Reflections. They look like business cards and come in a plastic case. FM me if you need more info. I love the way they came out and I hope to post pics soon to show what a great job Ronell did!

here are some ideas. Be creative. You are getting married in May, you could do something spring or summery, like a small silk flower are the card, or the card placed in a larger flower. Something beachy, like a shell holder, or write names on a shell. Are you crafty, that you can make it? Or keep it simple and use a plain card and hand script the names in a pretty gold ink.

It's kinda an expsive holder, but if you have the patients, I would consider making it. It definetly can be done!

P.S. I saw simpler ones, you can dress up with ribbon, in a dollar store...keep your eye out
