the generic brand of it. Is anyone on it? My GYN switched me to it and said I would have less side effects. and I HATE IT. I am a moody, emotional, fat b*tch with no sex drive! Plus when Aunt Flo came today, I got unbelieveable cramps. I wanted to cry they hurt so much. Has this happened to anyone else? I was fine on the original.

Heather have you ever tried Yasmin? I was on that before and I loved it!!!!!! Ask about it!!! I think Shamma is on Yasmin too

I'm on Yasmin - have been for over 1.5 years. It eliminated all PMS symptoms.
I tried ortho-tri, but didn't like it at all. I was crampy.
I do remember being incredibly moody when I first started taking BCP. So if you weren't on BCP at all, and now are, the side effects may subside quickly. Give it a cycle or two, and see how you react.

I am soooooo *****y during this time too.. This morning I threw a fit cause frank slept to late and i had to walk the dogs and them got dirty doing it.. (if anyone was in the bellmore area at 8am sorry for all the screaming )
Then i got to work and i felt like crying in the parking lot, then i felt bad for yelling then i was mad again then happy... its a roller coster, and poor poor frank..

I was on Ortyo Tri- Cyclen, and my gyn just switched me to Ortho Tri-Cyclen-lo last month. It's the same as the regular ortho tri, just a lower dosage. There was a problem with my medical plan picking up the regular when there was a generic equivalent, and my gyno said she didn't like the generic kind, so she switched me to this. So far, so good. Maybe you could try that?

I was on Ortho Cyclen for a while and HATED it!! Had the same symptoms you had. I've been on Loestrin Fe 1/20 and I love it. Everything's pretty much back to normal

i've been on it for 5 months and i hate every moment of it!! i'm calling my OB/GYN tomorrow to write a new prescription for me so that i get the brand-name, even if it costs me more!! i was on ortho-cyclen for 8+ years without any problems, go on the generic, and infection after infection. i hate it!!!
edited to say: i have also noticed a serious decrease in my libido, which FI is non too happy about!!

Heather I had the same problem when I was switched from my regular (Lo estrin Fe ) to the generic. I even had spotting and other problems called the doctor and he switched me back and noted in my chart no GENERIC for me!!!
See if he will switch you back

Same thing happen to me. They switch me to some generic brand tri levlen i believe. I had to call and tell them to change my prescription. My libido did not exist and that is soooooooooooooo not me and then I was spotting the entire month.
Now I am on Zovia. Anyone on that? I just started and I am just hoping it agrees with me.
