Our 10/20/01 Wedding!!! (Very Long!!)

Hi All!! Well I am finally a married woman and it feels great! I have a few minutes before we are off and then on to our honeymoon so I wanted to post my reviews! First of all, we could not have asked for a nicer day weather wise and all around. I got up around 5:30 am…. the hair person (my regular hairdresser) and the makeup person (Melissa 631-951-9080) got to my parents house at 6:30am. Both my sister and I got our hair and makeup done. We were done by 7:30 and I then went upstairs to get dressed which took about 20 minutes. My advice to future brides, try on your dress a day or 2 before your wedding and let whoever is going to bustle you up practice. When we got to the reception hall, the first thing we did was bustle up, what could have taken 20 mins took about 7!! Definitely a time saver. Well we were off to the church at 9:35 and got there in about 10 mins. We sat in the parking lot for a few minutes then went in. I was kinda nervous, but as soon as we lined up I felt this calm come over me. When it was time for me to walk down the isle, all I could see was my love at the end. Nothing else at that time mattered!!! The ceremony was beautiful and it went so fast. After the receiving line we went back in to take family pictures. Everything went so smooth, No missing people, no crying babies!! LOL We walked out of the church and people were blowing bubbles and it looked so beautiful! Even our photographer said he got some great shots!! Our photographer was John from Wedding World and he was wonderful!!! So patient and setup some nice shots. We were very happy with our choice. Now we can’t wait to get our proofs. We went to Bayard Arboretum in Oakdale and the scenery was wonderful!! The video guy was also from Wedding world and he was great also! I can’t say enough about both of them. The bouquets and corsages were from Wedding World, all silk and I got more complements on them. They were absolutely beautiful!!!! Our DJ was Danny from Just for the record. They played exactly what we wanted and people were up dancing the whole afternoon. The centerpieces were candleholders with a ring of fresh flowers around them. Done by White Iris florist in Babylon, They did such a beautiful job that everyone was fighting over the centerpiece!! Our Limos were T&S Limos, and they were on time and didn’t have one flaw! The best part of everything was our reception hall, West Lake Inn in Patchogue. They are one of the Lovin’ Oven halls. People could not get over the quantity or quality of food that there was at the cocktail hour and then all the food that they got for the dinner. Nothing was overlooked by the staff. Our Maitre d’ was Mike and he was wonderful! We chose to have a dessert cart in addition to the wedding cake and everyone was amazed at how good it was!! Was you photographer John Pagano? Thats who we used from Wedding World and he is the VIP photographer we all rave of. Thats the one who you ended up with because the other guy dropped out or whatever right?

We are still on our honeymoon but back from Disney. If anyone is is thinking about a honeymoon in Disney I highly recommend it!! We were treated like a king and queen. We got a bottle of champagne sent to our room the first night. Each meal that we ate we were given a little gift. We ate at Cinderella Royal Table for breakfast one morning and were given toasting glasses as a gift. We had the most wonderful time. We still have another week to enjoy here in Florida but nothing will compare to the time that we spent in Disney!! Lisa
