Our CPs!!! (Went to see sample) with pics! :-)

So I haven't been very expressive about this, but I am not a huge fan of the florist I chose. She's ok, but I find her extremely frustrating to work with. My mom's been coming with me to my appointments with her and acts as a little bit of a buffer, and it's all coming together nicely.

Last night we went to see the sample centerpiece she did for me, and I have to say, I was FLOORED -- it was EXACTLY what I wanted!!! Down to the colors of the roses and the simplicity balanced with a unique sort of modern charm!

I took some pics on my phone and they came out a little fuzzy, but you can kinda see what I'm talking about. The pics I took on my real camera I'll have to wait until I get home to show off.

I just love them so much!!! It took me quite a while to find the vase I envisioned, but it's just perfect for this too! It's actually a water pitcher I got at target for $10 each!

There will also be some votives on the tables, in opaque green, opaque purple, and white. I'm so happy!

She works out of her home and gets a lot of things wholesale (I met her at a bridal expo back in February) so when we were talking about options for vases, she basically said I was going to have to pay for whatever vase I wanted if it wasn't something she already had that she could 'rent' me (she had the tackiest signs to put on the table to stop people from taking them). So I asked her if I could just purchase my own instead and she agreed.

Lol I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing!!! But I love that they're so different! It's a real earthy, summery feeling to me. Since it's a day wedding in July, I thought this was a great alternative to the regular huge CPs or a lot of candles. I'm so happy!

i love the colors and the flowers you chose. i think that such a unique centerpiece really shows off the roses elegance and simple beauty. i love love love it!! very simple and elegant! the candles are a nice touch too!!
