Our friends are looking for a used car

Does anyone know of anyone selling a 2 door or a 4 door toyota, honda, subaru, Nissan, or a Hyundai between the years of 1999 and 2004 not higher than $8,000...with an automatic transmission??

If you do please post it here with picture if possible or FM us.
Thanks,
Scott

I was thinking of selling my '99 Civic LX, dark green, 4 door, automatic, in great shape, a little over 50,000 miles (maybe 55 or so).

how adamant about the automatic transmission are they?

I might (big might) be selling my 2003 4-door Echo but it's a manual transmission.

How much do you want for the civic???

I would advise him against purchasing a used VW or even a new VW. No offence to anyone that owns one. I used to work for them, and I know that their quality isnt as good as a honda, toyota, subaru or even a nissan...and it is more expensive to pay for repairs on a VW then it is to pay for them on a japanese car.

Let me check Kelly blue book value. It's a great car, if it sold I would just get another Civic.

You don't have to convince me...I have had 4 honda's in the past and Danielle has had 2. We know.

Kelly Blue Book says $8155, I would sell it for $8000...Here's a pic. from Kelly Blue Book of the LX, but mine is the dark green color. I also just got 4 new tires last week.

wow $8000 huh...My friend looked at a 99 EX for $7000 last week that was silver. I will tell him about it though.

As for the Echo....No thanks. Did you hear that toyota is discontinuing that car at the the end of this year or middle of 2005. It hasnt really sold well in the past few years...

check out www.freecycle.com
and www.craigslist.org

They have lots of great prices on stuff people want to sell or give away.

Try Brian @ Smithtown toyota- He's a friend of a friend's family and he's the manager of the used car division and the buyer for the dealership. They always rave about him - 724-3300.
