OH my goodness! I am so sorry poor puppy! He'll get through this I know my friends dog broke his leg...just said to see him like that...aww!

Awwe poor puppy!! I have an italian greyhound too and this is my worst fear. They have such long boney little legs.

This is my baby Bastian.

FH sister has one too and he broke his leg very badly one day while playing on the deck. They think he was running after our pup and he got his leg/nail caught in a board on the leg and since he was at full speed the leg just snapped. They actually had to do surgery and put pins in it to set it. Poor pup had to be kept calm for 3 months, not easy for a 5 month old puppy. They got a port-a-crib for him and laid a baby gate on top to trap him in so he could come out of his crate. It took a bit to heal but hes ok now. The silly thing was after his surgery they wrapped his leg in a big purple cast.. about a week later FH sister broke her ankle and was also laid up in a big purple cast.. the pictures are priceless.

If FH didnt have the camera ( he is at the car show in the city) I would totally take a picture...he is laying his cast on the desk
