We're thinking of limiting our guest list to 125, instead of 150. BUT... we already had over 100 people at our engagement party.. and they ALL received Save the Date magnets. Plus, even those that didn't come, we sent them a magnet in their thank you cards for their gifts.
So... my question is... how do we limit the guest list... if everyone already has that damn magnet on their fridge? lol. We know relatives from out of town who didn't come to the e-party are definitely planning on coming to the wedding... so the number is goin' up, up, up!!!
I also had just started my job around the time of the e-party and invited EVERYONE. Now there are people here I REALLY don't like. Do I have to invite them to the wedding? Do I only invite the ones that gave me a gift, even though they didn't come? Can I NOT invite a coworker that chipped in on a gift with someone if I REALLY don't like her? ay, ay, ay... I have a headache.

wait i didn't see this, if they didn't get the magnet and haven't acknowledged it....you could be in the clear on those....
Yeah... I just realized that two of the people I REALLY don't like never rsvp'd... I had to drag it out of them to see if they were coming the week of... and there was no gift... therefore, they didn't get a thank you card with a magnet. AND... to make it even better... those two are FRIENDS with two of the people who DID give me a gift and received a magnet/thank you card... but if THEIR friends aren't invited, they probably won't come anyway!!!! (p.s. - they're all over 50 and miserable. lol)

I have been at my job for 10 years and although a lot of staff has come and gone, I would love to invite a lot of them to my wedding.....BUT I am only inviting my boss and her husband. I cannot afford to invite the world and everyone I work with for the most part will understand if not Oh Well. I also do not hang out with them outside of work so I do not see it as a big deal.

you've got to invite everyone....just keep your fingers crossed that the ones that you don't like, don't like you!!! also, the people you lost touch with might not really want to go either, so even if they got a save the date, they may just respond 'no' to the wedding. it's a tough situation...
