My DH and I went to Alaska to celebrate our one year anniversary. We had such a fabulous time. We spent two days in Vancouver, then went on a 7 day cruise northbound on the Celebrity Summit (Ketchikan, Skagway, Juneau, Hubbard Glacier, Valdez, College Fjord) and then spent two days in San Francisco. Heres a few pictures...

WOW. My parents are going on this exact cruise in 2 weeks!

Isn't Alaska beautiful!!! I was there in 2000 and would love to go back. I took so many pictures and 2 tapes of video!!

Absolutely incredible!!! DH and I were going to do this for our Honeymoon, but because I had a problem with vertigo a few years ago, we were afraid of setting it off again on a cruise.

DARN!!!!

It really looks amazing! Maybe one day we'll get there!

Wow!!! Beautiful pics. This is one of my two dream vacations. Now I know we will go one day!!! I can't wait to show DH the pics. He will want to go too.

Looks like a great trip - I was on the constellation (sister ship) this past jan and it is a gorgeous boat.

Were you on it when it scapped a rock and put a hole in the hull?

beautiful pics! I've always wanted to go to Alaska, but with such a small window of time to be able to go each summer, not sure when it'll actually happen!

I heard the weather usually isn't that great, even in the summer. What were the temps like when you were there?

Rob-luvs-me - Yes, we were on it when it got damaged. To be perfectly honest, we had no clue that it happened. We heard a noise, but there was so much ice in the water, we figured that we had hit some of the floating ice and that it was no problem. I found out about what really happened after I returned. The next trip is the one that missed ports as a result....

Teri - It was sunny and warm every day we were there, which probably wasn't normal. Temps were 70-80 degrees in port. On the boat when you are moving it feels more like 50.
