Anyone here over spend on things too much? Whether it's for the wedding or not: I seem to over spend on random stuff. I dropped $250 in MAC yesterday on make up. Needless to say FH was not a happy camper but OK'd it b/c I needed it. Although he asks why I can't just use Cover Girl or something... anyone else in the same boat here? When it comes to certain things, you just won't sacrifice and no matter what budget you are on, you NEED to have it???
(Please help me feel normal and less like a bad fiancee for spending a lot of money LOL, PLEASE!)

Re: Over spending??
Oh I am the last person that should talk when I comes to this. I went out last month and bought a new LV Pocketbook for my B-Day present to myself
I have serious money spending issues, but hey I work hard might as well enjoy it

I have a purse weakness too. LVs are still a little too pricey for me, but I have way too many Coach bags. FH can't understand why I continue to buy more.

Oh I can totally identify. I went to buy an engagement party dress and since I didn't find that I bought Gucci sunglasses, 3 pairs of shoes and a Michael Kors bag.

Re: Over spending??
I definitley have an addiction to purses-my Chloe bag purchase set FH off but hey it's my $$$ and I work hard for it. My other weakness is massages/spa treatments. I treat myself to a massage at least 2 x a month

yes ME TOO.. i have so many and i still keep buying them. when FH gets annoyed I just remind him of the fact that FMIL takes FSIL shopping all the time and FMIL buys FSIL a coach bag and sunglasses-- each time they go (they have done this about 3 times that i have seen) So I tell FH that I might forget all about Coach's if they weren't paraded right in front of my face brand new every couple of weeks-- so he gets so annoyed!!! LOL
there are just a few things that i will not compromise on: clothing (i have to buy myself nice clothes), hair products and getting my hair cut (i will NOT cheap out on my hair), dinners occasionally and nights out (whether with FH, family or my girls--I need this every once in a while or else I'll go crazy), make up obviously lol (I have hypo-allergenic skin), and dry cleaning-- i will not subject my nice 'dry clean only clothes' to the washing machine!
Is that asking too much??

Re: Over spending??
I have a pocketbook fetish according to FH. I only have one Coach though. The rest are weird ones that hang on my wall at home. One is a license plate from Nevada, another is a high heel, a cigar box, a vintage(it was my moms) 1960's patent leather and a 1940's basket weave. FMIL indulges in it too, so he can't say too much to me, she loves to buy them for me. I've got to have a picture of them around here somwhere...

LOL i make a thread thinking that you are all going to say i need to chill out and focus on the wedding and that FH has a right to be a little concerned about my spending-- and instead, you are TELLING me where the sales are!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!! he would DIE!!!!!
