They just sent me this brochure with a whole bunch of info. Is it me or is this not right?
'Weddings on Saturdays cannot begin before 11 am or after 3 pm. On Saturdays we have Baptisms, wedding cannot begin before 2pm. We also have 2 hours between weddings'
So they dont have weddings before 2 or after 3pm but they have 2 hours between weddings
This is what I am dealing with!

Well, some Saturdays DON'T have baptisms, so I guess on THOSE Sat's there are 2 hours between weddings?
But, I agree, your church, most churches, and their rules are obnoxious and unnecessary.

I think my church has those wonky times too, hence why my cermony is at 2pm, and we must be out by 4 so they can set up for 5pm mass. Annoying!!!!

I think what it means is
'On Saturdays that we have Baptisms, weddings cannot begin before 2:00PM.'
They are not properly clarifying that they don't have baptisms every Saturday.
Lots of rules!

Originally, my church woman told me that they 'don't have weddings on Sundays'. Just not pleasant on the phone at all. (or can I say flat out rude!)
The church part of my wedding is completely FH job. She cannot be sweeter or nicer to him. I think she feels bad for him or something, having to actually do something for his wedding.
Meanwhile, I am getting married on a Sunday, so it can all work out. Good luck, remember God is on your side.
