Paging all WOODBURY COUNTRY CLUB Brides!!!

Hi Ladies,
I am getting married at the WCC in August '05 and recently found out that my Banquet Manager (Harry) is no longer working there. Needless to say, I was freaking out. Another lady from the Knot told me she was using someone by the name of Steve at the WCC and she really liked him. So of course, I called to schedule an appt with Steve since my BM left and now they tell me that Steve fell ill and is no longer there either!

Has anyone else heard this news? I am really upset about all this. Which Banquet Manager is everyone else using? The receptionist told me we can use either Pat, Mike or Dominick, but I don't know any of them so I'm not sure which one I'd like as our new Banquet manager. Can any of you ladies recommend one of them?

Well, FH and I won't be able to make it since we're both more than an hour and a half away right now and it's 5:30!

To everyone who is going, please post afterwards! If you hear anything updated regarding banquet managers or the construction (with the glass covering the garden), etc. let us know.

I'm curious as to whether they hired new BMs to replace the ones that left. The only thing I'd be worried about is having 3 people do the work of 7 means they will be very overworked and less able to make each ceremony / party run smoothly and personalized.

I went tonight and everything was AMAZING!!! I feel sooooooooooooo much better now. The place looks soooo good and everyone was beyond nice about everything. CANNOT WAIT FOR MY DAY

Does anyone know if they made changes to the upstairs room(s)? Or is it just the outside and downstairs?

All the vendors were in the Garden Room (downstairs) and I didnt see any changes.
I could be wrong. I kind of only payed attention to the room Im using. Sorry!

It was repainted. The bridal suite and bathrooms were recarpeted and refurnished....the dancelfoor was made bigger and part of the carpet was redone. It is getting new drapes soon as well.

The outside tent area has brand new carpet as well

I just found out my BM Jamie left too. We booked with her in April 2005. She had only been there 1 1 /2 months. It's now June and Mike said that she moved to Florida. Something just doesn't sound right about all the BM's leaving at once.

I kind of am thinking the same thing..........Hmmmmmm!
Then again....I just saw a review on WCC from a LIW bride(diamondgirlie) who just got married there and there was no complaints and everything worked out fine!
I had Peter as a BM who had already been w/WCC a long time so maybe just something better came along.....it happens.
