Pain in the A$$ shoes!!!
So originally I ordered 'white' ballroom dance shoes from a dance store that are very comfy. Because they were custom made, that particular design does not come in 'white' it's ivory. I picked them up before Christmas time and just decided that I was going to get them dyed ballet pink. It wasn't the store's fault it was the company's fault who they order them from. Also non returnable.
So I just came back from another shoe store that dyes shoes and the lady there said that because they aren't from a dyeable company and they are ivory, she can't dye them.
So now I'm wondering what to do? Can I dye them myself, or should I put pink rhinestones all over them? They are satin, but I'm not sure if they are silk or polyester. I'm finding out right now through online chat. If they are silk, I can dye them, if they are polyester, I can't.
Who has dyed or blinged out their shoes. I think I recently saw someone's blingy shoe DIY project that looked really nice. Does anyone know who did that?
