Re: paint brands

Some guy at Benjamin Moore told me what makes 1 paint better than the other..I can't remember exactly what he said, but it has something to do with what is in the paint. For example a cheap paint has chalk base in it . As it ages you can actually wipe your hand across it and get chalky residue.

Anyway, I think Benjamin Moore is my favorite and a great paint.

Re: paint brands

I too like Benjamin Moore - they have a great web site where you can mix and match colors.

Re: paint brands

Depends...they have 3 levels of quality. I think a gallon can range anywhere from 19-26ish. Don't quote me though...call a local retailer.

Re: paint brands

Our house is all done in Benjamin Moore paint ... except the bathroom, we custom mixed a color at Home Depot into mildew resistant paint.

Re: paint brands

I think we were paying over $30 a can for Benjamin Moore at Aboffs.

I love BM paints & primers though!
