I need some ideas...please! We just purchased a new bedroom set the color is light beach wood and our room is on the smaller side, but I wanted to add some color, the rest of our apt. is neutral color which I am getting a little board of, so I was thinking a light sage green. If I went with that would the room look smaller and what color carpet would look good with that? All opinions are welcome..thanks all!
someone recently mentioned on here...that there shouldn't be red in your bedroom (against feng shui principles...)

I like the idea of sage - it is a pretty color (I have my famiy room that color). I don't find it make the room look smaller - it is light and airy! (I used Salisbury Green.) I would keep the rug light and co for color in your bedding and window treatments. I use purple accents in my family room and I love it!

Thanks all! It was between a light blue or a sage green, we bought the paint this weekend and decided ont he sage green.

Have you tried BEHR.com they have the best website, you can mix your colors and see how they look on the wall..

My paint for my bedroom was from Lowes. It was a light minty green like I mentioned earlier. The color is called Morning Shimmer if u are ever at Lowes and want to check the color out.
