Hey, I am seriously thinking about booking Palm House in Brooklyn. Does anyone of you attend a wedding there? What do you think about their services/ food? Is there anything that I should watch out?

I have never tasted their food but I know it is pretty pricey and from what I have heard you do not get alot for your money.

the place is BEAUTIFUL!!!! but its true it is like 300+ per plate and u dont get half of what you should be for that price. For that kind of money my food better be topped with diamonds... especially when u are having a 300+ people wedding

we were going to look there but decided to look at the ny botanical gardens (in the Bx) first. we got prices for both and the ny botancial gardens offered more in the package than in brooklyn.

I booked there. I don't think it is $300 a plate. I am not paying that. Who knows..maybe if I take the entire cost of the wedding and divide it by the number of people, it'll be like $400-$600 a plate..but I don't think it is normal to do that.
I am having a day time wedding because I wanted to have it in September and all the evening dates were already taken.
Their prices are on their website. The people at the Palm House are very nice and quite accomodating.

i guess it what package u get..for what i wanted we were quoted $298 per person.
