Palm Tree Quill

I know someone menioned this...

Laura if you could figure it out...that would be wonderful...squares for the tree trunk...then leaves??

Misha showed me how to Quill at the crop on Sunday but I have yet to take the plundge!!

the leaves are marquis, just quill a semi-loose circle (depending on how big you want the leaves) and secure with glue. when dry, squeeze two sides of the circle leaving the middle bulge.

That looks so cool. In my class we briefly glossed over quilling, but nothing like what is being posted here.

tomorrow is you last day of work? are you staying home? or have another job?

I'm going to try to make it...I'd love to do the letters like that...I'll have to figure out how to do MEXICO (since that will go with a palm tree)

do you guys always use 18' strips? I don't want to buy new paper since I have so much...can I use 12x12 and cut into strips or 81/2x 11?
