I am absolutely love in with a dress.. And I've tried it on at Village Bridal in Babylon and at Paradise Bridal in Patchogue.. I had great experiences at both places and between price and alterations.. the pricing is about the same.. Which place should I buy it at? Can anyone share experiences with either of these places? (mostly with alterations because that is what I am most nervous about)

I've been to both and I bought mine at Village Bridal. I was really happy with their customer service.

Bridal Salon- Village Bridal
Where do I even begin with this place? For starters, during my time there I dealt with the most amazing, respectful and patient staff (to list just a few characteristics). They are a true set of professionals and were such a help. I called them at one point on the verge of tears because the specific dress I was looking for could not be found anywhere in the tri-state area. Without hesitation they called the designer and had a sample dress sent to the store. Every time I entered their store I always felt like a priority and that our time together was precious. Even the couple weeks before the wedding when I was there practically everyday between my alterations and the girls. The least I can do to repay them for everything they did is recommend them to anyone willing to listen!! They are one of a kind!!!
*I recommended them for Vendor 2012 and that's what I wrote.

I wasn't impressed with Paradise Bridals for my friends wedding was in. They were great when she picked out her and her girls dresses. But for alterations I didn't like the job they did for me. I know some of the other bridesmaids had some problems too. But they do have a great selection of dresses.

I have same problem. Leaning more toward village bridal as it would be a lot easier for me for fittings and i have $100 off coupon :)

village hands down all the way. they're amazing to work with. went to paradise for my moms dress and we werent impressed. i also asked to see veils when i was there and it was like i was asking for the world since i didnt have a bridal appointment.

I havent been to paradise bridal, only delt so far with village, and the three times I have gone in there, (two walk ins and one apt) they have been nothing but amazing to me!

I've been to both for weddings I was in and I have to say that Village Bridal was the best! Dealing with the people at Paradise Bridal was a nightmare! They ordered my dress way too big and then did a horrible job on the alterations! The team at Village Bridal was amazing and were very accomadating! They will also match any price as long as you ask!
