parent gift ideas?

I'm at a loss. Halp?

Yes, you can see that I'm starting to STRESS OUT BIG TIME because I feel so underprepared!!!

I ordered picture frames from Things Remembered for my parents and for FH's parents. Well, his mom a picture frame, his dad a clock/pen set. They all have the wedding day on them. His parents' items say 'mother of the groom' and 'father of the groom' on them. I also got his mom a set of earrings.

I think that's all I'm going to give them all. We'll get them stuff from France on the honeymoon too.

Megan, Debi and Fred gave us Moms these, and I loveeeeed mine!!!!! I lovedddd the inscription!!!! 'To dry your tears as you've dried mine' From Things Remembered. My Husband got an engraved money clip from Things Remembered, and Fred's Dad got an engraved stein, along with all the GM. Mary MOB

We are already going to give them parent albums, but those probably aren't going to come to them until at LEAST seven-eight months after the wedding. (Once we get our proofs, you better believe that we're hauling butt on creating our album.) I can't remember what my sister did for our parents, either, which is making this that much more difficult!!! I love the Waterford picture frame idea!!!

I wish I would have thought of that BEFORE Fortunoff closed. . .could have gotten a great deal!!!

we got our parents new computers. they did so much for us and for our wedding and both sets desperately needed working computers..so that is what we did!

We didn't go crazy with parent gifts - we got my mom and dad and DH's mom personalized hankies. Each one came in beautiful box with a sweet poem for each person. We wrote our folks heartfelt letters and also paid for their parent albums.

My parents are paying for the wedding so we are spending more on them.

I got my mom a tea set from Waterford that she has been wanting. I got it on E-Bay so it was about $100. I also got her a picture frame that is personalized from Exclusively Weddings.

I got my dad a picture frame and i am trying to get something else.

FMIL - we are getting her a nice Lenox frame and something to match it.

FFIL - we are getting him a pocket watch engraved, I think

we got both sets of parents digital picture frames, FH parents are divorced so they each got one, and i got my mom the blushing bride Precious moment.

For my mom.. i took her to see M a m m a ***** on broadway, i also made her a MOB gift basket... filled with a bunch of MOB stuff and other stuff she has always wanted

Step - father - and engraved watch

Fh's parents we got them a gc to stay over at the b&b where we got engaged in cape may.
