Parent gifts

What is everyone getting their parents?I'm having trouble coming up with anything.

Getting my mom the lenox mom and bride piece (someone posted a pic of it above) and a hankie.

No clue about his parents yet. Maybe broadway tickets too b/c they love that stuff!

Getting my father a silver movado or a cartier. my mother an all day spa package and a necklace n bracelet set from Tiffany's.

I plan on getting my mom (the first pic) and my dad a frame that says on the top 'daddys little girl' and on the left is a pic of me as a little girl and my date of birth is engraved under it and on the right is a pic of me grown up (hopfully one in my wedding gown)...engraved with my wedding date on the bottom..

I love your idea. I want to get my mom the same Lenox piece and I love the idea for the pic frame for your dad. I would love to put a pic of my dad and I in it also besides one of myself.

do you typically get your parents a gift if they are paying for your wedding?

I would definately get my parents a gift if they were paying for my wedding. I t would be the least I could do if they were putting out all that money. Just something to show your appreciation.

My parents dont travel much so we are going to give them an all expense paid weekend at Mohegan Sun.

As for his parents we arent sure yet.

We bought them digital picture frames. We're going to load the memory cards with pics of all of us.

I'm not sure about this yet. My parents may be going on a cruise after the wedding to celebrate me finally leaving the house so if they do that, maybe we can pay for an excursion trip and something else.

I'm sorry but his parents haven't given us anything, not even a card to congratulate us on our engagement, so they aren't getting crap from us!
