PARENTS DO NOT LIKE RH!!!

Can someone offer some suggestions in regards to cancelling my RH. I booked it on Sunday but my parents think it is too small and they don't like the facts its next to a diner.They don't think its worth the money!!! So does ne one know about cancelling RH???

let us know what they say when you call.

-if they do let you cancel- before you book a rh, make sure your parents like it.

i wouldnt book anything without my parents liking it, regardless of who is paying.. parents usually know better!

What?? If you and FH loved it, then you should keep your wedding there! Seriously NRC is beautiful!! And the food is amazing (we did our tasting already!). The diner didn't bother us as much as being able to hear the cars on the street when you are outside, but seriously that is nothing that a little music can't hide. And you can't see any of the neighboring stores when you are in the outside part. And with your wedding being in December, you will only see the diner when you pull up anyway. No one will be hanging out outside! You should definitely do a tasting and ask your parents to reconsider!!

my mom actually visited the RH with me and said it was nice. But she then explained that she really was not in love with it afterwards.

even if they are paying...They have to be considerate of her feelings too. Like ask her first is this place THE one for you are you in love with it. I mean you can't tell your daughter to give up her dream place for her wedding, because you don't like it. The daughters happiness is what matters

I think you have 72hrs to cancel the contract once you've signed it. They don't really tell you this unless you ask. You have to formally contact them, right a letter and have it registered at the post office.

did you call yet? i would hope that since you only booked it a few days ago they might extend the courtesy to you to cancel with no penalty, or maybe 'hold' the date until you make a final decision. if this is the place you have your heart set on though maybe explain this to your parents. paying or not, you want them to be excited for you.
