So, I don't know what the etiquette is for parent's gifts. Is it a thank you gift for all they're doing to help with the wedding? What if you're paying for the wedding yourself? At the rehearsal when we give the bridal party their gifts, I don't want our parents to just sit there. My future father-in-law is FH's best man, so I know he'll have him covered with a gift, so all that's left is 4 moms, lol. Both of our dads re-married and we're both very close to our step-mothers (neither his mom nor my mom are re-married). I was thinking of getting all 4 of them a meaningful alex and ani bracelet. Too lame? Help me out here...

Parent's Gifts
No I don't think that's lame at all that sounds really nice. My FH parents are helping out with the wedding but my family isn't so I'm just gonna give both families nice picture frames at the rehearsal and after the wedding we will be getting his parents a better gift.

Re: Parent's Gifts
I think i might do the handkerchiefs with the message sewn on it.
I saw it on etsy and thought it was cute.
Also we are doing the rose thing during the ceremony for the two mothers.
The bracelet sound very cute too

Parent's Gifts
The bracelet idea is very sweet. I bought cuff links for my dad that have the name of the song we will dance to together and will most likely get him a hankerchief with a sewn in message (as well as for my FFIL and most likely something else as am very close with my in-laws) As far as my FMIL I will be doing a little something more personal since she bought me my wedding dress.
