I plan on going to see at least 25 places, and we've seen about 6 so far. I've gone to all of them with my FH, and i plan on narrowing it down to a few (maybe 2-3) and then i'll bring my parents. My dad works a lot and my mom is busy too so i dont see the point of dragging them all over. Espically since there were at least two places that were a complete waste of time.

fh and i went by ourselves first then brought along fmil for a few and when we narrowed down we brought along both parents

we are paying for the wedding ... but i did bring my mom with me when I picked a hall because shes a good negotiator!

we took both our parents to see the RH before we booked (actually my dad was the only one who saw it after we booked). FIL's were actually with us when we did the official booking and signing the contract. Neither set of parents are contributing, but we just thought it would be nice to show them the place before the actual wedding day.

They didn't come for the 1st round lol but once we narrowed it down they joined and gave their input. Ultimately they knew we loved our place so they were happy too! FH's and my parents are joining us for the food tasting though since we think it will be a fun bonding experience (corny i know! lol )

We were almost 95% sure we were going to book the WM.. the morning before we booked I was looking at another RH with my mom. I called our RH and asked if i'd be OK for my mom to stop in and take a quick peek. They said OK. (I was glad she got to see it)
THEN later that afternoon FH & I were looking at our top 2 venues and asked my FMIL if she wanted to come. FH & I ended up booking the WM. We ALL fell in love with the place... Looking back it was nice, both mothers got to see the place the day before we booked.

Next month our RH is having a showcase and i'll ask FH, mom and FSIL if they want to come... Soo excited to see the place *again* I look for reasons to go there now. LOL
