PAST Thatched Cottage Brides

Does anyone have pictures of your wedding onsite. I would love to see some pictures of the outdoor location and inside as well while a wedding was going on. Thanks in advance

I don't have any pictures, but I drove past there on my way to the Vanderbuilt. It looks like a gorgeous place. I want to see some inside pics too!

Awesome!!! I have been there and love it but want to see in action. I want to see what centerpieces they used on those long tables (that I am not crazy about). What colors are you using? My colors are pick and brown (I think) :)

So Pretty! Im not positive yet, but am thinking of Pink and Green (and maybe some brown) - using Pink Gerbera daisies :)

I was a bridesmaid at the Thatched Cottage; we wore sage green dresses with white ribbons around the waist (the dress below), we carried white rose bouquets and the centerpieces were floating white roses in clear bowls. It does not have high ceilings inside so the bride opted for lower centerpieces.

If I can hunt down pictures of the ballroom I will FM them to you!

i have been able to find tons of pictures just by searching for the 'thatched cottage' on liw and then looking at past brides profiles. i'm doing purple and white, i think purple goes really well with the inside and outside of tc.

Does anyone know what their Viennese Table includes??

We get one with our package, and was just wondering what was on it! I know Toni-Ann said an ice cream bar, but wasn't sure what else.

Not sure- we do not get the Viennese table. I thought I remember them giving us an option of a sundae bar or some french style desserts after cake.

We're not doing the viennese either. Andre said we get a choice of doing pastries and cookies or a sundae bar and bananas forster.

Thanks! Yea I wouldn't have gotten the Viennese if it didn't come with it - way too much extra pp plus they give you tons of food already!

Okay, so I wasn't offered an ice cream bar, viennese table, chocolate fountain or anything like that from Toni-Ann...what the hell?? It was pretty much that cake and pastries were the only thing that could be included! Did you guys ask?? Also, I'm looking at my list of what IS included and it says place cards are included--did anyone use these?? what do they look like??

I haven't seen the place cards yet I have a meeting with them in February to go over all details and have created a HUGE list of questions that I want to ask them

I was offered a choice of the sundae bar or pastries- not both. Def ask them

When you went over the menu with Toni-Anne she didn't say, you have a choice of the pastries or the sundae bar and bananas foster?

The pastries are on the menu listed as 'continental dessert service consisting of miniature international pastries....'

As far as the placecards, I'd be interested to see them as well as the menus that are included too.

I was offered (by andre) pastries or banana fosters...I dont really recall anything about a sundae bar though but my head was really spinning by the time he got to dessert! lol. I stopped in to make a payment and their place cards were very simple... plain white.. but im sure they let you chose from a few colors so it matches your scheme? I was told they also include customized menus for the tables (I think with your names on them) too... Just dont know if its one per person or one per couple? And they include flowers for the piano. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. HTH

When I originally went over the menu with Toni-Anne I wasn't offered a choice of dessert either. She said exactly what was on the menu, which is the pastries. Only once we changed to getting a package, the Viennese table was included. Although I believe she did say that the Viennese separetly was around $12.50 pp or something crazy like that.

I would also like to know what the placecards and menus look like What did the flowers on the piano look like?

Thatched Cottage grounds came out amazing in our pictures! I have some you can look at. Overall we were completely satisfied, they helped make our day amazing!
