Patchogue Bridal Center??
Does anyone know about a place in Patchogue that is a big bridal center? Someone told me about it a long time ago and I forgot the name of it. Thanks!

Fantasyland?
Are you talking about Patchogue Floral Fantasyland? It has lots of wedding related items however it is not a wedding center. No gowns or tuxes, but they have just about everything else. It is a terrific place to go if you are looking for a nice headpiece that doesn't cost a fortune. There is no wedding center in Patchogue that I know of and I would stay away from Patchogue Bridal Suite!

Wendy...Why would you stay away from Bridal Suite?
I was considering taking a look at what they have. I haven't heard much about them and I am curious to hear why you said to avoid them. Thanks

Heathera - when are you going?
My mother has been talking about this place, literally, since I got engaged. She is so excited to go there. I am coming home for Easter and we are going on Good Friday. I am curious what exactly I am in for! If you are going anytime soon, will you please post about it? Becky

Jenny.. re:Patchogue Bridal Suite
I was married in September and bought my wedding gown as well as my daughter's MOH dress from then. They were wonderful when I ordered my dress a year and half before my wedding. They even offered to store it for me. However once it came time for the alterations on both dresses and a few other things they were just awful. First of all they double charged me for the alterations on my daughter's dress. The way the receipt was printed you really had no idea what you were paying for and I didn't realize til after I had already paid for it. When I questioned the amount the owner couldn't tell me what the charges were for. They did refund me, but had I not looked closely I would have been out $75.00. On top of that when I went for my final fitting on my gown they made me wait 2 hours before I finally was able to try on my dress. And then it wasn't even done. The dress and the lining had not even been hemmed. While I was waiting that night another bridal party came in to pick up their dresses for a wedding 2 days away and their dresses were not done. Not to mention that they had taken in one dress too much and the girl was not able to zip it. The bride was in tears and her mother was flipping out. All they did was say don't worry we will have them done tomorrow (a day before the wedding). They ended up taking her in the back and I never heard the end, but they were still very angry when they left. I had ordered gloves dyed to match my daughter's dress to cover hertatoos and they ended up forgetting to order them. They only came in 2 days before the wedding. Then I had more problems when I picked up the dresses 2 days before my wedding. My daughter's dress had not been ironed and the beading was hanging off one shoulder. It was a good thing I checked the dress out completely before leaving with it. The final insult was on my wedding day when I discovered that my dress had not been hemmed correctly. The lining was lower than the rest of the dress and was so long that I ended up tripping over it and ripping it. The comb in my headpiece was not there when I went to put it on the morning of my wedding. My daughter's dress split in the seam where they had supposedly altered it and when I checked later I discovered they had only used basting stitches to sew it. Obviously it had never been completed before I picked it up. I would urge every bride to stay far far away from Patchogue Bridal Suite!

Patchogue Bridal Suite - don't confuse with others...
I bought my dress from Bridal Suite Bay Shore and when I went ot pick up my veil for a hair trial, they had ordered it without piping...I didn't realize until I got home...we took the pictures that we took the day I ordered, went back and told them...we didn't have to say anything...they completely apologized and said they would fix it no problem... I have had nothing but great service from them.Welcome New Vendors
