I can't believe this place. I am getting married in one month and they just ordered my dress and will be ready for my first fitting two days before my wedding. The owner of the store has no clue how to run her business and I am very disappointed. She gave me the run around about when the dress was coming in. First it was Feb. 20 then June, then July 9 and my first fitting had to be cancelled because it wasn't in yet. I guess a two day rush delivery doesn't work anymore. Or maybe it was never ordered. So girls, If I were you I would watch what goes on there if you ordered your dress from there. Thanks for ruining my day PBS. I was encouraged to go and find a new dress off the rack. Thank goodness Ihave good connections :)

Re: Patchogue Bridal Suite
I am actually reporting her to the news channels, maybe they can find out how she runs her business before she closes down.

My fiance went there yesterday and actually printed out the invoice off of her computer(becasue she didn't know how to do it) to find out the exact date it was suppose to come in.

I am sure you gave a deposit.....and it obviously is PBS fault.....they definitly should be putting in a rush order for your dress.
Did they cash your check or charge your Credit Card?

Re: Patchogue Bridal Suite
yes they took my deposit when I first put in the order for the dress. What really burns me is that she kept giving me the run around about my dress and couldn't admit that she didn't put the order in. Its definitely there fault.

Re: Patchogue Bridal Suite
This place has a new mess every single day.............but your first fitting two days before your wedding? I've now heard it all!
I am so happy I will never have to deal with them again. We went there last week and got all our S&&T OUTTA there!
We all couldnt run out of there fast enough........The urge for a martini came on real fast!!!

I hope everything works out for you. I am so glad I didn't order my dress there. That is where I found my dress (my mom found hers there too) but we went to Centerreach Bridal to order it. Thank God. I would definetly report them to every news program in NY. I actually visited my dress in Centereach today and got a kick out of the big sign in the window that says 'we are in no way affiliated with bridal suite of patchogue'.

Re: Patchogue Bridal Suite
I AM SORRY...BUT THIS REALLY PISSES ME OFF!!
I am getting so angry looking at this thread.... why should YOU have to go run around and grab an 'off the rack dress'..after spending all that time to find the dress of your dreams...AND ordering it efficiently. This is ridiculous.....i am sooooo annoyed for you. I am soo sorry you have to deal with this.
you tell me what you need help with and im there....i live right around the corner from them...and willl help with WHATEVER..because NO BRIDE should deal with this crap RIGHT before her wedding!

Re: Patchogue Bridal Suite
I know it does suck but id PB is that bad i would get another dress just in case. The situation is what it is and an off the racxk dress is better than no dress at all. Sorry for you!

Re: Patchogue Bridal Suite
Does anybody else call to speak to the manager and have been told that she will be in, in an hour? And..then when she doesn't call me back I go down there and she's sitting there. I hate that! Its happened three times already.

I had my father call her...that seemed to be the only thing that got her to call me back...but we are still having issues with the BM's dresses

Re: Patchogue Bridal Suite
I would send your FH's down there... together.
Sh*t - I'll send my FH there. Guys don't care about making scenes. This has got to stop - they have to be accountable.
they know how to take your money, but they dont know how to order dresses.
thats awful!

Re: Patchogue Bridal Suite
This store is horrible! They dont know how to run a business. I was in a wedding this past weekend and lets say getting our dresses and the bridal gown were NOT fun dealing with these people!

Re: Patchogue Bridal Suite
My FH did go down there when they called to cancel my first fitting. I couldn't go down or I would have been uncontrolable. He did an awesome job taking care of the entire situation and even got a cop to come in a write up a dispute ticket to have everything on record just incase she did close down the store.
