I AM SORRY...BUT THIS REALLY PISSES ME OFF!!

I am getting so angry looking at this thread....
why should YOU have to go run around and grab an 'off the rack dress'..after spending all that time to find the dress of your dreams...AND ordering it efficiently. This is ridiculous.....i am sooooo annoyed for you.
I am soo sorry you have to deal with this.

you tell me what you need help with and im there....i live right around the corner from them...and willl help with WHATEVER..because NO BRIDE should deal with this crap RIGHT before her wedding!

Pinkstar - I am totally with you on this! I ordered my BM dresses there and they are due in this week - I can't wait until I get them outa there as well!

Don't feel bad Kylie, I am sure that everything will work out for the best. Quite Frankly PBS is the most horrible vendor I have had to deal with, they will not give me a straight answer either. Luckily I called my dress manufacturer and they told me when the dresses will ship and a 'ballpark' of when I should expect them. I am giving them until Monday and then I am going to go there. My wedding is in September and I keep calling and all they tell me is that someone will call me back and they never do.

Kylie-if you need any assistance with this let me know and I will be right there to help you

OK, I was lucky enough to get my dress out of that store. It was a few months ago. I ordered it in October of last year and it came in May. They did order me one size larger than I asked and they told me I had to take it home because they sold their storage facility. Great! So now it's hanging in my closet. I'm just greatful that the dress is out of there. I was still intending to go there for alterations. Since they did order me the larger size and capped the alteration charge.. Now I really don't know what to do hearing all this mess.

Thank you so much everyone for being so supportive! My wedding coordinator Laura from LA Productions took care of the entire situation and called the company where my dress is coming from and we are getting it delivered directly to one of our houses. Im going to PBS today to cancel my order and demand all of my deposit be given back. Ill let everyone know how things go later on today.

Hearing all of this makes me feel so relieved that i didn't get my dress there. I came so close, I wanted to add cap sleeves to my strapless dress, and the owner said they couldn't. Thank God I got outta there.

Re: Patchogue Bridal Suite

I ordered my dress from that witch Beatrice Piccola, the owner of bridal suite and had nothing but problems. My wedding was in March and I did get my dress, but it was a battle, she also never ordered mine when she said she would. I figured her out and my advice to you is that you go there and sit there, and demand to speak to her and say that you are not leaving until you know what is happening. That is what I did. They can't do anything to you because what she is doing is illegal. You also want the UPS tracking number from your gown's manufacturer so you can track the shipment yourself, she won't want to give it to you, but you demand it and she has no choice it is afterall your merchadise that you paid for.

Here is what she did to me, I ordered my dress July 26, 04. They told me 3 months. They did not order it until September 9, 04, (I know this now because I got a print out from her computer with the date on it). She lied and lied until her story got tangled and we caught her, and I called my gown's manufacturer and they helped me as well. She is playing a money game. Here is what I mean. If I order my dress in July and do not need it until March, she takes my money and pays for your dress because say it is July and you need yours from December. She then waits for someone else to come along and say they need there dress for the following June, then she uses their money and pays for my dress and waits to order theirs. Make sense. I know the way I wrote it sounds confusing but I confronted Beatrice Piccola with my theory and she told me never to call her store again and never to come back, so I took that as she knows she is caught. We filed numerous complaints against her with the Patchgoue Chamber of commerce and the BBB of new york. I hope everything works out for you and that you have as wonderful a day as I had because when the day comes you won't think of her nasty self once. And don't worry she will get what she deserves eventually. Good Luck on your day and I wish you all the best in your new life.

*** I can't believe this woman. My fiance had to go literally behind her desk to print out the purchase order himself, because she said she didn't know how to do it. I will be going there today and confronting her. I am also contacting numerous news stations and patchogue CC and BBB on her. She told me that 'she hates to hear brides cry' So I asked her 'you have made more than one bride cry?' She is a complete *** and I hope we all run her out of business. I can't say anymore hateful things about her.

Going there in person makes a huge difference! I had issues with them with my mom's dress and it was a total aggreavation! We went there and she cried and they took care of everything! But it su(ks that it has to come to that.... but it works.

Put it this way, I was so mean on the phone that I was surprised that they didn't hang up on me... but I got my point across and the threats work. Call them up, tell them EXACTLY what you INSIST on getting and if they can't promise it, tell them you are going to the newspapers, lawyers, BBB, CA, and anything else you can think of.

On a side note, weren't they being bought out by someone else? I remember neesiepie having serious issues with them too recently

I can't believe you were there. I think my FH did great with her. We actually got in writing from her that she would look for my dress at another store and she would let me know today if she found one. But...I won't hold my breath. We also got her to commit to buying me a new dress in comparable to the price I paid. She is also paying my cell phone ticket that I received when I was on the ohone with my FH finding out that my dress wasn't ordered. I went there yesterday to collect my money, but of course she wasn't there. So I will be visiting her today. There is one really nice woman that works there. She has long brown hair and totally agrees that she runs her store like a zoo.

Yea she was with me when your FH called the cops and she said that the owner is totally at fault. The owner kept running in the back to hide and the nice lady kept getting her. I asked her if they were closing and she said 'not that i know of' Good Luck Today

Re: Patchogue Bridal Suite

Kylie,
The girl with the long hair is nice and helpful, her name is Kim I think if it is the same girl that was trying to help us. She is also the one who gave me the print out with the date the dress was ordered. Good Luck. If you are filing a complaint with the Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, the executive director's name is Gail Hoag. Good Luck again and I hope you get what you want.

Kylie - I am so sorry that you are going through this. We had such a problem getting our BM dresses from them a few weeks ago. In th end we got them after MOH dropped her dad's name - finally the owner called her back - never called me back. FH drove from NJ all the way out to Patchogue to get the dresses out of there. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! Let us know what happens.

Re: Patchogue Bridal Suite

Here's the update!

My FH and I went there today and we got our deposit back and she paid for my cell phone ticket in cash. We also told her to cancel my dress order because we spoke with the CEO of the manuf. and he is now overseeing my dress being made and it will be shipped to my wedding coordinators house instead. She apologized to me, but I couldn't even look at her in the face, I said nothing to her the entire time. I have so much hatred for her and I hope she goes out of business soon so no more girls have the same problem as I did.

I was reading old threads about PBS and I can't believe she has not closed down yet because of mot ordering dresses, and ruining brides's wedding dress dreams.

Thank you to everyone who has offered dresses and your support through this entire week of stress. You girls are wonderful!
