well think about it, they have to hold something for ransom if you still owe them money for upgrading your album. Its common business practice. They aren't going to give you something and run the risk of you not paying the remander of your balance.

Just to clarify....I am very happy with my proofs. The only reason I want them on CD is so I can keep it at my moms house, G*d forbid something happens and the albums get destroyed...at least I will have something.

i understand if u give them the stuff ina timely matter, it will get done ina timely matter, but it never worked out 4 me that way with them, even at the times that i handed them stuff at a timely matter.
alot of people say that the longer you wait for your album, the longer it will take them,b/c u didnt do it immediately. im hoping thats not the case and im hoping to have my album paid for in march and they said 4-6 months . . . [soho album]

no comment, but word of advice. Your married now, no need to bring your mom with you anymore! You probably come across very young especially with your mom there.

Also, based on previous posts, you are probably a hard to please bride.

I know way harsh, but I can tell, being in the business back in the day myself, that sometimes coming in with your parents can be worse. And just like any human if somebody comes in demanding things that are special requests in a sense, it will drive anyone to pull their hair. I think its all about how you deal with vendors. Sure we all call fly off the handle at times and get bothered or upset, but if you keep your cool, act mature and make it known without being annoying about it that you are going to take crap, then usually things work out smoothly.

No thats ok., Im not offended. I rarely get offended, so dont worry u didnt hurt my feelings.
Ummm.....for the record, I brought my mom because we were both picking up alot of enlargements and my car was being detailed that day, DH was at work and I dont like dirving my mom's car. so my mom drove me and came with me for the ride. Nothing wrong with mother daughter bonding time! Besides, I thinks its great my mom goes. This way nothing can be 'put over me' or try to 'fool me' and my mom just has a way of speaking to people, being nice but firm, because thats what she does. I see nothing wrong with my mom comimg, and why wouldnt she? She paid for the photographer, she can come anytime she wants! Thanks 4 the concerns though!
