You are all so helpful, so I just wanted to see if anyone was having problems with -- who is paying for what for the wedding?
When we originally started planning, my dad agreed to pay for everything, but now, with the economy the way it is, he is not so interested (putting it lightly :) in paying for all the vendors. He also put it out there why FHs family has not offered to pay for anything.
I'm just curious if anyone is going through/went through the same thing.
Is anyone FH's family paying for vendors or anything??

Im kinda of going thru the same thing my FH's family doesn't want to pay for anything so we now have to do a way smaller wedding.
what me and FH did was give oursevles 2 years to save $$$ so we can save enough to throw the kind of wedding ..(my father is helping but we need to save for the other half)
maybe you guys can push the date back, so you can save up?

We're kind of getting help from all over. FH and I are paying for photo/video, flowers, limos, part of RH, stationary/favors/misc. costs. FH's parents are paying for about half-3/4 of RH and DJ. My parents paid RH deposit, dress/veil, and will be paying for shower and I think church donation. Plus generous monetary gifts at the end (we think/hope).
Overall shouldn't be tooooooooooooo bad I think. I hope. Ugh.

They have not brought up anything...but my dad and us and paying for the wedding....dad is paying for the big things and we are doing about half of the vendors. FILs did say they would pay for my shower and they threw around some ideas for RD but I don't know if they plan on paying for that.
