paying in cash

paying in cash

I have a question for the girls whose vendors agreed that if they pay in cash, they don't need to pay tax -

how does this work? Do you meet the vendor each time to pay each installment in cash? Do you pay it all at once? What are you doing for receipts?

Finally, if we've paid some checks, is it too late to start paying in cash?

TIA!

If the checks were written out to the vendor then yes it's probably too late. But if they were written out to cash then you should still have a chance.

We are paying alot of our vendors in cash and it works the same way; whenever a payment is due we bring them the money and we get a receite saying that we made the payment. There's really nothing different except not paying the extra money for taxes. HTH!

Basically it works both ways for you and for the vendor. You get away with paying tax as well as them. You will prob have to personally hand them cash and they will prob write you out a receipt that is more or less just your own proof that you paid.

If you have already paid by check, and the checks have been cashed, then whats done is done. You can most likely still pay the rest in cash. This really varies from vendor to vendor. Some will be willing to work with you in this way and others are more strict about following the system.

FM me if you want more specific details about this.
