Is anyone paying in cash for their vendors? If so, how are you doing that? I know this sounds silly, but I've never heard of this before. So, you literally walk in with cash and pay them? No checks? Also, do you know if they waive the tax if you pay cash? Again, I know this sounds silly but if we can use this as a bargaining chip with our next vendor that would be great lol

Many of them will waive tax if you pay cash. It's a great way to save!

All vendors I've met with said they would waive tax if we paid cash. It would definitely save you a decent amount of money!

I'm paying cash for almost everyone! It definitely helps a lot, all that tax adds up fast!

We are doing cash. We ALWAYS make sure we get a receipt and try to pay more than the initial down payment. You can definitely use this to your advantage and ask if you can get the tax off your total bill or even get the price down! Good luck =)

Paying in cash
We are doing money orders so that we can better track the money god forbid something goes wrong. Our vendor is using treating it the same as cash.

We're doing everything through bank transfer so it's sort of like cash. We want to keep track of everything. And we make sure they have a business account and not a personal account.

Paying in cash
I wanted a band, not a DJ, however, I can only afford a DJ. my parents are giving us a good amount of money for the wedding and decided to pick up the remaining balance of the band. Now I don't want to break the bank even more so I offered them all cash and they took off $800 :) no tax!! :) every little bit counts!!!

Besides for our first deposit cause we were kind of not planning to book that day everything has been in cash. So we talked to them about waving the tax if we paid the rest in cashe they said no problem. Same thing with our vendors we plan on doing cash for everything. Though when I have the cash with me to go I feel so wrong carrying that much cash lmao.
