I was wondering if you could tell me how your payment plan worked with your location. How much was the deposit and how often did you have to make payments? When did you start making your payments, how long before your wedding were you paying? Thanks

We paid 10% of the minimum guaranteed (125). I'm not really sure when we have to pay again - I think when we draw up our menu and then the final payment the week/day of. We're not doing monthly payments, that I know.

We were very lucky. We got to pay whatever we wanted whenever we wanted.

We put down $500 deposit, then $750 a month until 2 weeks before the wedding we pay the balance.

We left $500 down then, one month later $1500 then, one month later $1500 then, two months later 2500 then finally three months 3500. there is 50% of the balance due 30 days before then the remainder 10 days before the wedding Alot to take in right
for our hall...it depended on how many months before your wedding you booked...for frequency of payments
we put down $2K...then our payments were $5K each

We had to put down $500 to hold the date & didn't have to pay anything else til I think 2-3 weeks prior to the wedding day. But of course if we chose to make payments in between they had no problem with that.

We put $1000 down, and have to pay $1000 each in Nov., Feb., May, and July. 6 weeks before the wedding we have to be 50% paid; 2 weeks before the wedding they want our headcount; 10 days before the wedding, we have to be paid in full. We then have up to 48 hours before the wedding to make and pay for (or receive money back on) any changes. Of course, I'd like to pay either a little more for each payment so that I don't have to make a huge amount of payments in the last 6 weeks before my wedding, or increase the number of payments I make.

WE put $1000 down. then we put another two payments of $2000 down. In Oct we put $3000 down and the balance (thinking about it makes me ill ) we put the balance which runs from $9500-12,000. were paying ourselves so its scary. and you cant do cc, bank check or cash!

the first half of our payments which are every three months credit cards are allowed i believe, its only the last payment(1/2 of it) which is cash or certified check

We had to leave a $500 deposit, $1500 a month later, another $1500 the month after that, then no payments for a whole year until the beginning of 05. Then 50% is due 30 days before the wedding and the balance 8 days before. The whole thing is scary...

$1500 deposit $2000 every three months I have the option of making payments inbetween our scheduled due dates without penalty as well (hich we have been doing so as not to get slammed all at once the week before the wedding)

Hearzbellz....what kind of penalty could they give you for making more payments than required? It's not like they're losing out on interest payments if you prepay!
