Pedastal Florists, Jack and Rose and Milleridge

Hi! I am coming into Long Island next month to meet with a few Florists and was wondering if anyone can tell me about Pedastals, Jack and Rose and Milleridge. I was just planning on using Milleridge because the own the place I am getting married, the GW manor..but they have a hard time returning phone calls and are not very helpful over the phone. I will still check them out, but want to keep my options open. If anyone can tell me ANYTHING about these florists reputations..good OR bad...please tell me. Im clueless when it comes to flowers..I need all of the help I can get! Thanks so much!!

peastals has 2 locations. I have heard they are really expensive.

Jack and Rose is great. I am planning on seeing them. Jennbaby used them and her flowers were gorgous. They are really reasonable as well. I had sent Jack and FM and within a day he wrote back and was super friendly in his FM and even in his FM he just glows. He really loves his work

I dont know anything about Millridge

wow.. Thanks for your responses! thats good to hear about Jack. Anyone who glows and love his work is someone Id love to visit with first. Milleridge almost acts like Im botheirng them the few times that Ive called.I dont like how they make me feel. Shawl..we definately can compare notes..because Im going into this blind!!! Im going to check out Jack first! Does anyone know how far he is from the GW Manor in Roslyn?

there have been a few threads on jack and rose in the last few days

we just booked him last friday and i am so happy with what we got!tell him you are from liweddings and he will give you a discount.

I went with Jack & Rose too. He is good at what he does, and can really sell you his professionalism. Worth a check out. but I find pricing around always reassures my decision that I went with the best place

Definitely check out Jack first - super-friendly and great prices. I'm using him and I couldn't be happier with the choice. I've never heard anything about the Milleridge, and I've hear a couple of bad things about Pedestals. That's all i know.

I went with the Milleridge- they did an AMAZING job and are very competitively priced... check them out- I'm sure you weren't bothering them over the phone but in terms of flowers there really is just 'so much' they can tell you over the phone without speaking to you in person and getting your 'vision' for your wedding...

JACK & ROSE! He is the owner, you deal directly with him, he makes you feel comfortable that he is 100% accountable and will take care of you. What more would a bride want for her wedding day? Oh- and he's reasonably priced too! BONUS!

I used Pedestals and they were far from expensive. You give them a price point and they'll stay within it.

You can see their work if you do a search for my wedding pics...I was really really really happy with them!

We are using Pedestals, I love their work. THey were not expensive. I actually thought I was going to spend a lot more. They are giving me exactly what I want. They are great to work with. We booked them through thier Howard Beach location

I am using Pedestals and they have been so great to work with. They were the same price as 5 other florists that I looked at. And even gave me a better deal when I told them I was in between them and someone else. THey are very very nice!!

Was at a wedding where the flowers were from Pedastals and they were gorgeous, i heard great to work with and affordable. I just had an engagement brunch at the Milleridge Cottage and the flowers were from there and they were really pretty. Just pink roses but very nice!
