I have a meeting with Pedastels tonight and everyone is telling me that they are super expensive! We are def. on a budget but I am trying to figure out some of the quotes that people have gotten from them, we are shooting for around 3000?! Anyone????

I have 8 BMs my bo-k 1 flower girl 8 GM 2 RB 2 mothers 1 father 15 centerpieces FH bot 1Arch not flowers though bamboo Getting married on the beach so no CH flowers...maybe a card table with some flowers.

I went to two places. The were cheaper then the other place and gave me so much more. Let them know what your budget is first then they will be able to give you options.

I used Pedestals and my flowers were just over $2,000. They aren't THAT expensive. If they were, I wouldn't have used them. I may have been able to get a better deal elsewhere if I had time to shop around... but I didn't. I didn't think they were super expensive.

High or low CPs?
I bet you can get all that under $3k with them. Tell them your budget right when you sit down and they will work with you.

it is probably doable. low centerpieces start around $55, & high $125. So when you go there say your budget is $3000 what can you do for me.
I am getting low centerpieces which they initially quoted me $75, I got them down to $65. But when they came back with the total price for everything I said I dont want to spend more than X amount she came down to my price.
Pedastals was the most creative for me out of 5 florists that I visited so I think I am going to book with them.

See this is makes me feel better!!! I got that pit in my stomach that I was going to have another yet discouraging floral visit! I initially wanted low CPs but then i saw some really beautiful high ones, simple but high ones, so I am kind of on the fence about what I want. I love hydrangeas, peonies, i want calas for my bo-k and my BMs, like orchids... I am really hoping that they can work with my 2500-3000 budget!

You should be good with that budget and maybe it will come out lesser than 3K. But it also depends on the flowers you want. They also add in some things at no charge. They are a really great flower company and they do awesome CP's. You will see some of their samples as you walk in to their showroom. Good Luck and I hope everything goes well on your visit

you can also tell them what you want 1st & see what they quote you. It may be lower than 3K. But if they quote you higher then tell them I dont want to spend more than 3K. They will come down for you. Remember flowers cost pennies so they will work with your budget.
I worked with Nadia who had really good ideas, but I met Vito @ a bridal show & he was gr8 also.

I thought Pedestals gave me a great quote. For a little under $2000 I got:
my bouqet throw bq 4 BM bq 2 mother corsages 2 grandmother corsages 12 bouts 12 low centerpieces Flowers for the cake Flowers for the place card table Petals on every table.
I also felt really comfortable with the person I was working with. She definitely knew what I wanted and made some really great suggestions I would never have thought of. Good Luck!

I think I paid around $2150 for 6 BMs 1MOH 1 Bride 6 GMs 1 BM 2 dads 14 low candle / wreath CPs (they were huge and gorgeous) rose petals for tossing outside the church (they even put them in my petal cones for me) 2 huge arrangements for the church rose petals and votives for the cake table and for the dais (until we could but the bouquets on the dais) ETA - oh, and I got a throw-away bouquet, too

I think the type of flower and how many will determine the price.. maybe for what you have in mind the price will be just right... you can always tell them that you are on a budget and see what they can do.

Remember...if you choose flowers that are not in season it will be super expensive!
