what is the average for flowers so i dont get ripped off? any help please. thanks.
our quote was $2200 for 17 CP, 2 dozen roses each, plus bo-ks, etc...
It really depends on what you are getting - we are paying $5800 for 20 centerpieces with roses and callas and pears, 6 BM bouquets with roses and callas, my bouquet which will have orchids, gardenias, freesias, ceremony arrangements, pew arrangements, dais arrangement, satin material with small arrangements for the staircase in the hall and an arrangement on the fireplace at the hall...
I booked w/ Pedestals. 6 Bouquets and a throw away, 8 corsages or boutinres. 14-15 centerpieces( 4 dozen roses on high gold columns) . 4 chruch arrangements. $3,500. I am also planning on adding some hydrangeas to my centerpieces and bouquet I am not sure what the price differencewill be or there will be one all.
It does depend on what you want. I wanted real full centerpieces (15) with only roses and 6 bm boquets, 4 bouts, 2 church arrangements and I was quoted $6400. It's because I wanted a lot of roses in the centerpieces though. If you meet with Joe-he is great!

It will depend on what you want. If you use flowers in season, you can keep costs down. Flowers was the one area of my budget where I just HAD to keep costs down. I didn't have a choice because I'd rather spend a little more on the entertainment. That said, I am getting 12 low centerpieces (it will include with rose petals around the centerpiece with votives), my boo-k (no throw-away), 3 BM boo-k's, 4 boutenniers and 2 MOB corsages for $1200. I am using flowers in season (May 2005) and haven't added the church pieces yet. But when it's all said and done, I'm bringing my flowers in at under $2,000!
