I'm using red peonies in my bouquet and white in my bm's. Here is a pic of what mine will look like...

I think my florist said she is using peonies for her wedding, so they must be a good choice!

Do you girls know when peonies are in season? I LOVE them but I've heard that they are only available in the spring time...otherwise you have to pay an arm and a leg to get them from Holland, is this true??

I heard the same that they are only available in the spring months - I always loved them and wanted them for my Nov wedding but my florist told me they would throw me off my budget completely...so no peoonies for me - well maybe just my bouquet

The held up really well all day, actually...we also had them in our cp's....by the next day though, they started wilting. They're pretty delicate. And our wedding was right in the beginning of the season....you can't get them much past June without paying a fortune for them.

I love peonies. I am having them in my bouquet and my MOH's bouquet as well as our centerpieces. It's true that if they are not in season, they are an arm and a leg. I happen to be getting married right in the season, so it worked out for me. :)

I actually like them too but John from flower michelle said I can't use them in July... forget why either they aren't in season or need to much water? Im sure if you are absolutley in love with them they can include them in your bo-k so talk to your florist!
