People are canceling

im so sorry..that really stinks!!!!

just keep telling urself i am getting marrid thi week,its going to be the best day and if someone dont want to come then it's their loss

Awww that sux, but it happens. I had people cancel right up until the day before, and then 11 people just didn't show up.

I know it's upsetting, but don't let it get to you...focus on the good stuff!!

this is happening to me too! i have to give my final count TOMORROW and i just found out a family of 4 might not come, 2 people out of town now cant come and another old work friend of FH just cancelled (but for a good reason) but still, I have to give a final count and rearrange my table seating now!!! AHHH!!! I vow to always be the 'best guest' from now forward and to never do this to another bride.

Thanks soo much girls. Im going to try real hard not to let it bother me. FH is getting upset also.

Aw i'm sorry that really *****! It happened to me too! We were supposed to have 151 and ended up with 140 people who showed up to the wedding so we paid for 11 people that didn't come, but please don't let it ruin your day! Just relax and enjoy it because it goes by super fast but it's seriously the best day ever!!!

You know what... I was angry and was going to track them down, but by the time I got home from Hawaii I calmed down and I figure there is nothing I can do and I am not going to let it get to me and ruin a perfect day. But we figure about $3000 worth of people just didn't show. Most of them gave me gifts, but still. From the ones I did hear from there were tons of excuses, but who really knows. At least 4 of my guests came without their husbands for one reason or another. One of my guests stayed through the appetizer and then left because her daughter was ill, but her husband had stayed home with the kids so why he couldn't handle it, I don't know? The weirdest no show was my ex-boss (who I am still close to) who was at the church and said to my dad 'I'll see you guys later' and then he never showed. I still need to find out why for him. That was strange.

People can be just so...bizarre. Thats the only word I can use to describe it. Ugh! But thankfully you felt better after your trip.
